Bio

Molly Hampel (b. 1996, Stafford, VA) is an illustrator living in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from George Mason University’s Bachelor of Art program in Art and Visual Technology, with a focus in New Media and a minor in American Sign Language. Hampel works with illustrations and children’s books showcasing her experiences growing up hard of hearing and later having hearing aids. She also aspires to create a children’s show to be on a children’s network that has ASL as the main language. If language is becoming more accepted, she wants to have a show for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children with their native language.
